I love the work on the boat. I would love to know more info. Where did you get the plans? How long have you been working on the boat? What is the backbone made of? I love gartsides boats. I am currently restoring a nordic folkboat and have pics on my blog. (dickneyland.blogspot.com). I would love to be in touch and keep up with your progress. Keep up the amazing work.

Hi thanks for the positive comments. I purchased the plans directly from Paul Gartside. I laid down the keel at easter 2001 but I have had a couple of six months where I had other things to do on my house. I really only get to work on the boat at weekens and holidays. The backbone is european oak.
